6 Days - Highlands

Day 1:

• meet and greet at the airport and transfer to your hotel in Negombo
• on request: boat trip on the lagoon
• Night in Negombo  

Day 2:

• on request: visit the fishmarket in the morning
• visit Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage
• transfer to Kandy
• City Tour in Kandy including Culture Dance Show and Sri Dalada Maligawa (tooth temple)
• Night in Kandy

Day 3:

• visit Peradeniya Botanical Garden
• on the way to Nuwara Eliya visit a tea factory
• explore Nuwara Eliya on your own (Victoria Park, Lake Gregory etc)
• Night in Nuwara Eliya

Day 4:

• early morning hike to Worlds End (roughly 10km long walk, takes around 3h, medium - good condition needed)
• go on a scenic train ride through the highlands
• Night in Ella

Day 5:

• explore Ella (f.e. Little Adams Peak for sunrise, Nine Arch Bridge, Ella Rock etc.)
• on the way to Tissamaharama see Rawana Waterfalls
• Night in Tissamaharama

Day 6:

• morning safari at Yala National Park
• transfer to any beach destination along the south west coast or to the airport for your departure
